COVID-19 MANDATORY PATRON SELF SCREENING
All patrons must self-screen before entering the premises. All fans must complete a self-screening assessment prior to entering Paramount Fine Foods Centre that has been developed in accordance with recommendations and instructions issued by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health and mandated from Peel Public Health. Anyone experiencing any of these symptoms should refrain from coming to Paramount Fine Foods Centre and stay home to self monitor.
Complete a self assessment prior to attending.
FACE MASKS REQUIRED
Wearing a mask in indoor public spaces is required under By-law 0169-2020 until March 31, 2022, except when actively eating or drinking.
Wearing a mask is part of the core four actions supported by Peel Public Health to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
A non-medical mask should be made of at least two layers of tightly woven fabric, with a recommended third middle layer of filter-type material. The mask should:
• Fit well, cover the nose, mouth and chin without gaps
• Fit securely to the head with ties or ear loops
• Maintain its shape after cleaning.
A medical mask such as surgical mask, N95 or other masks required by health-care workers may be used but are not required. A face shield is not an effective alternative to wearing a mask, as it does not contain your respiratory droplets. If a face shield is used, it should be used with a non-medical mask.
PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED
Starting September 22, you need proof of COVID-19 vaccination to access:
• Sports
• Recreation fitness
• Meeting rooms
• Entertainment or cultural venues
This is required by the Government of Ontario’s proof of vaccination regulations. Some exemptions are permitted under these regulations.
Each fan aged 12 and older must present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination* along with government issued ID at entry gates to Paramount Fine Foods Centre. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.
Where to get your vaccine receipt

(b) one or two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada, followed by one dose of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or
(c) three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada; and they received their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before providing the proof of being fully vaccinated.

Schedule of Events

The most up-to-date schedule will be available for all coaches in their registration package at the registration desk, and will be posted throughout the warm-up facility. Due to last minute additions we remind coaches to use these copies of the performance order and not to rely on the spectator program.

Food & Concessions
There will be concession stands open on the concourse level of the arena.
Spectators will not be permitted to bring in outside food or drink.

Please be sure to turn in all Coaches Code of Conduct, waivers, and athlete’s Date of Birth. Participants without these forms/info turned in will not be permitted to enter the warm-up facility or performance floor.
Legalities and Deductions
For legalities and deduction information please review the 2019-2020 Competition Guidelines sheet available at www.canadiancheer.com on the Rules page. If you require a legalities clarification please report to the staff at the registration table to coordinate a meeting with a legalities convenor. Those that have not reported to the staff at the registration table will not be able to meet with a legalities convenor. At Fall Classic ONLY we will be issuing warnings for illegal elements. Falls, bobbles and collapses will still be deducted.
Scoring
Please review the score sheet available at here. The judging process will assess the difficulty, execution of choreography and overall effectiveness of each routine using our standardized judging form. There will be a point deduction and legalities judge who will be responsible for assessing falls and illegal elements. Deductions for bobbles will be deducted per judge from the overall impression score.
All coaches must sign-out their score sheets from the registration table. Score sheets will be available after the division awards ceremonies.
Team Change Rooms
There will be very limited changing capacity; teams are encouraged to arrive as ready as possible. There will be no official supervision of team belongings during the event. The stands behind the backdrop will be reserved for team use to store belongings and complete hair and makeup. A few changing rooms will be available in the area surrounding the practice gym.
Practice & Warm-up Area
The warm-up area is located behind the main competition floor.
The practice area will have scheduled times and teams must check-in to the practice gym 30 minutes prior to their performance time. There will be a scheduled rotation beginning with check in and then proceeding through scheduled practice times on a partial floor, immediately moving to a sprung tumbling strip and finally to a full 9-mat floor for 4 minutes. Following the practice mat, the teams will have 12 minutes before being escorted to the “on hold” waiting area.
Sports Therapists
There will be sports therapists as well as emergency response personnel available for the day to ensure that athletes and spectators can be well cared for if necessary. The therapists will have supplies for their use only and will not be supplying them freely. The role of these people is to deal with injuries, not to tape wrists and ankles. Kindly plan to bring your own athletic tape.
Spotters
Cheer Evolution will not be providing spotters for the event. If coaches feel they should provide their own spotters for the team, please contact Cheer Evolution prior to the event. No deductions will be made for teams providing their own spotters provided these spotters do not provide hands-on assistance.
Music and Sound Equipment
All music must be in CD or Mp3 format. NOTE: Do not use CD-RW! We are very pleased to have Brandon Larry as the M.C. for the event and overseeing all audio aspects. His exceptional experienced and top quality equipment will ensure each team’s music sounds great.
If using the Mp3 option, please ensure that the track is on its own playlist. It is highly recommended that each team have a back-up copy of the routine CD at the music table in the event that there is a problem with the primary CD or Mp3. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure that their music is error free and plays on the music system. Once the team is positioned at the “in the hole” waiting area, event staff will escort the coach to the music station.
Team Entrance and Exit from Main Floor
All teams will enter the floor from a tunnel located back of stage left of the performance floor. In order to keep the competition on schedule, teams must immediately take the floor once announced. Inspirational words or cheers should be done prior to being announced. There will be event staff in position to give teams notice of the amount of time remaining.
Following the performance, teams will be directed to exit the floor front stage right and directed through to the video replay area.
Event Shirts and Clothing
There will be a variety of clothing items available for purchase at the ProCheer Store as well as from vendors. Please be sure to come to the stores to see what’s available. The ProCheer booth will be located on the floor of the main bowl, other vendors will be positioned throughout the concourse area.
